David D. Wu Graduated From The University Of California, San Diego In 2003 With Double Major Degrees In Political Science- International Relations And Chinese Studies. He Earned His Juris Doctorate From Santa Clara University School Of Law In 2006. While In Law School, David Interned For Yahoo, Inc. And An International Law Firm Focusing On Intellectual Property Matters, Including Trademark Infringement And Copyright Law.

After Being Admitted To The California State Bar, David Obtained Significant Experience In Corporate Law, Working On Anti-Trust Cases Being Scrutinized By The Federal Trade Commission During Mergers And Acquisitions. These Experiences Taught Him To Become Thorough, Detail Oriented And Obtain Excellent Writing And Verbal Skills.

David Entered The Field Of Workers’ Compensation In 2007 And Joined A Statewide Defense Firm, Covering Primarily Northern California Wcab Boards. At This Firm, David Developed A Reputation For Aggressively Handling Litigated Files From Inception To Conclusion In The Defense Of Workers’ Compensation Claims. David Acquired The Skills Necessary To Handle Complex Files, Respond Promptly To Hands On Client Needs, Creatively Negotiate Settlements, Depose Doctors And Set Appropriate Matters For Trial.

Specifically, David Set An 86% Permanent Disability Case For Trial And Was The First Attorney In The Firm To Successfully Argue That Ogilvie Was Not Applicable, Utilizing Sub Rosa Surveillance And Deposition Testimony To Rebut Applicant’S Credibility.

With Over Three Years Of Experience, David Was Recruited To Join Chou Law Group In 2011.
